HIS COMING

A GUIDE TO FUTURE EVENTS

A clear and straightforward introduction to Bible prophecy, written by teachers from across Great Britain and Ireland, united by a love for God’s Word.

by Alan Gamble, Ian Jackson, Iain Jamieson, Iain Lewis, Malcolm Davis, Mark Sweetnam, Michael Wilkie, Paul Coxall, Paul McCauley

WHY PROPHECY MATTERS

Does prophecy really matter? Christians cannot seem to agree on it, so why spend time trying to understand future events? When souls are perishing, why become distracted by something which is not a salvation issue?

Yet prophecy is important. Although not a test of orthodoxy, it helps Christians grow in their faith. This book has four aims: to establish guidelines of interpretation of prophecy; to differentiate between Dispensational and Covenant Theology (which largely determines how we view prophecy); to outline the Bible’s teaching about the future; and provide a brief summary of how prophecy has been understood throughout history. Key questions will be answered:

Is there a future for Israel?

What will the tribulation be like?

Where will the Church be in the tribulation?

What is the millennial reign of Christ?
